Great food and at a great price!  Since October 2004, Faith Pleases God Church has partnered with Angel Food Ministries to provide quality groceries for less than 50% of retail. For $30, you receive 14 - 16 food items including beef, chicken, vegetables, fruit, eggs, and a dessert. The food is the same high quality one could buy at a grocery store with a retail value of $60 or more.

Also offered are specialty boxes such as steaks, chicken and fruit & vegetables. Many participants in this bonus program appreciate the expanded choices.There is no limit to the number of units or bonus foods an individual can buy, and there are no applications to complete or qualifications. Angel Food Ministries accepts the Lone Star (Food Stamp) card.

Everyone is encouraged to participate.  And for those who are able, we encourage you to apply the money you save to help someone else in need.

You can be a part of this dynamic community outreach in several ways. You can:

1. Order extra food boxes for those in need – either people you know or we always have a list of families that need help.
2. Help with the distribution on the 4th Saturday. Future Design also serves as the distribution center for all the Valley host sites. You can help us unload the truck once a month from 6:15-7:45 am. It’s fun and enables people throughout the Valley to receive their Angel Food!
3. Contribute financially by calling 428-4848. Currently we have to rent a fork lift to off load the food. If you could loan us a fork lift, donate one or sponsor the month rental by being our “forklift angel,” it would be a huge help.
4. Contribute service s or skills that might help our AF customers. Example: we have one awesome hair stylist who often comes and cuts hair free during the distribution. Maybe you can consult in your area of expertise, provide medical screenings, or change someone’s oil while they’re picking up their food. This is a community of people helping one another.
